Recently we the citizens of Utulivu, had our first election to determine who would be our Prime Minister, and what kind of government would run our country.
To do so, we had class members run and create their own parties based on their hidden agenda and motives. They chose party leaders and promoted themselves and their group for election. Each party made strong campaign efforts and fiercely competed against each other with debates, facts and arguments to prove themselves to be the best choice for election. After the election, the misinummoc party, (Communism spelled backwards) had won only by joining with another party and creating a new one, taking their place in government. I think this new government might be a problem because these two parties are opposite each other and some of their ideas for laws and how things should be run, may be conflicted. I am interested to hear their plans for tax rates because one side of the party promoted the idea of having no taxes, and that all money mad would go to the government and be evenly distributed back to the public, while the other half of the party wanted to raise taxes.
